Silvia Figueroa
Was born and raised in El Salvador and has been working at Nueva Vita llc since 2021. She started off as a medical receptionist and has worked her way up to becoming the Medical Billing Specialist and Credentialing at Nueva Vita LLC.
Silvia was certified as a Medical Assistant Training Program and is currently a certified Billing and Coding Specialist.
At Nueva Vita LLC, Silvia offers a wide range of services to physicians, Primary Care, clients, and Mental Health. Including billing and coding education, insurance credentialing, chart reviews, practice financial and operational assessments,
Silvia has been in healthcare for more than 22 years with hands-on physician practice experience working in transcription, billing, collections, patient balance, and various other roles. Finally, Silvia has been able to acquire broad knowledge in several specialties including Mental Health, family practice, and OB/GYN.
During her spare time, Silvia enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her 3 sons & grandsons.

Martin, MD
Dr. Maria A Martin is Family Medicine Board Certified who emphasizes preventive, lifestyle medicine and health maintenance in the community as the most powerful tools that can help decrease the prevalence of the most common diseases in the community.
She received her Medical Degree from Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia where she finished her studies in 1994. She earned a Master of Health Administration at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana School of Economic and Administrative Sciences in Cali, Colombia in 2000.
She specialized in Family Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Somerset Family Residency Program in New Jersey in 2006 and graduated in 2009
She worked at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) for 6 years. Then at the private practice of Potomac Physician Associates in Kensington, MD for 2 years and in 2016 she started working at Andromeda Transcultural Health in 2016 in Washington DC. She worked for 6 years.
Dr. Martin has been trained in Obesity Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine.

Alesha Chavis
Alesha is a dedicated and vibrant healthcare professional currently serving as a Phlebotomy Supervisor at Nueva Vita. With over 13 years of experience in the medical field, she began her journey as a CNA and GNA, building a strong foundation in patient care that has guided her throughout her career.
She holds an Associate’s degree in Human and Health Services and is currently earning her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Alesha’s diverse background includes experience as a PRP Counselor, Certified Medication Technician (CMT), and Licensed Assisted Living Manager, allowing her to bring a well-rounded and compassionate approach to patient care.
Alesha is passionate about working with diverse populations, including adolescents, young adults, and the elderly. She is known for her warm personality and her ability to create meaningful connections with patients while maintaining a high standard of care.
With a strong belief in holistic, patient-centered healthcare, Alesha strives to make a lasting impact by improving healthcare experiences and outcomes. She is committed to continued growth in the field and looks forward to expanding her influence through innovative and compassionate care practices.
